Over the past 16 years, Nike has been collaborating with Hong-Kong based streetwear label CLOT, in which they have dropped a number of creative bold sneaker designs. Next to drop is upcoming CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low “Jade”. Raffle entries open 10 May.

Hong Kong cofounders of CLOT, Edison Chen and Kevin Poon have built upon on the meaning of jade in this sneaker’s design – which signifies nobility, wealth, and power – by packaging it within a special jade-patterned shoebox.

Air-assisted black midsoles raise this shoe accompanied with a shiny speckled design of shark-like teeth designs. The standout feature is its glow-in-the-dark rubber midsoles and midfoot netting as further reflective tongues make up the shoe with its black satin uppers.

Extra details include the jade beats scattered on the lacing system whilst the “23” is plastered in Chinese at the heels with embroidery. Special red laces and sockliners add a bold contrast. Overall, the AJ5 lace lock makes its signature statement to top it all off.

The CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Low “Jade” is unsurprisingly expected to be around the $200 USD mark. It will be available globally on May 14 whilst raffle details can be found on JUICESTORE.COM now.

In other news, CLOT and Jordan are doing even more by dropping an accompanying apparel collection which will feature hoodies, T-shirts and sweatpants. Of course, the collection will continue its theme of Chinese jade-inspired accessories, which is sure to positively build upon this unique sneaker drop.
