Timothée Chalamet, a French-American actor, has been announced as the newest Chanel fragrance for men Bleu de Chanel ambassador.
The 27-year-old actor, best known for his appearances in “Dune,” “Interstellar,” and “The French Dispatch,” was confirmed by Chanel in a press release to star in his debut Bleu de Chanel campaign in June, which will be photographed by Mario Sorrenti. The autumn will see the autumnal release of a Martin Scorsese-directed campaign movie.
The actor’s first partnership with Chanel and first official ambassadorship of a fashion or beauty brand both occur with this project.
The high-end fashion and beauty house claims that Chalamet was selected because of his “audacious style and unapologetic charm,” as he “personifies the visionary and edgy spirit of the next chapter” of the Bleu.
