Prada and ASPENX have just released their technical ski wear collaboration.

The collection, which includes a versatile hoodie, a thermal jacket, and an extreme cold ski and snowboard jacket, is made with eco-friendly materials and includes details like techno piqué, post-consumer recycled polyester fibres and elastane, waxed zippers, and heat-sealed sections.

“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with Prada as a key component of ASPENX’s inaugural lineup of premium offerings for the 2021/2022 ski season,” said artist Paula Crown. “More than just a fashion collection, this collaboration is a physical representation of Aspen’s one-of-a-kind spirit, just in time for the destination’s 75th anniversary.” The capsule, designed for unrestricted exploration, complements ASPENX’s founding vision of new possibilities, and I am overjoyed to collaborate with such a revered house as Prada on this historic occasion.”

The highlight piece, the snowboard jacket, is made of Prada’s Extreme-Tex, an innovative waterproof multilayer fabric. Graphene padding, antibacterial properties, carbon-free waterproofing, and heat-sealed taped seams are also included. The collection is available at ASPENX for both men and women, with prices ranging from $2,040 to $5,100 USD.
