Shakira and Burna Boy, two internationally renowned musicians, are the new faces of Burberry’s Christmas campaign. The film aims to capture each artist’s embodiment of the “exhilaration of the night before.”

Along with a selection of sharp-fitting shirts and accessories which reflect the spirit of Christmas, the collection offers a variety of duffle and trench coats. Shakira shared how “fashion is such an ever-changing world, always evolving. Burberry manages to evolve with the time but always keeps its distinctive, classy style.”

Shakira is featured in the campaign’s pictures sporting a transparent beige gown. Diamonds placed to the gown in a succession of leaf shapes wrap the entire garment. The brand name and the year Burberry was founded, 1856, are also written throughout the dress. The silver Lola Bag from Burberry’s evening collection is also being worn.

Burberry’s male line also includes black shearling and leather jackets, padded leather parkas with logo accents, and an orange cotton-canvas field jacket with a contrast collar and an embroidered logo. The collection also includes several improvements on traditional designs, like cotton jackets made of technical wool woven in Italy and finished with toggle fasteners bearing the Burberry Check mark. A variety of cardigans and sweaters as well as palladium items crafted with hand-applied crystal embellishments are available as accessories.

In the campaign video, the musicians display a variety of evening clothing, such as tulle gowns with Equestrian Knight Designs and oak lead crests in shimmering crystals. The film, as filmed by TORSO, provides the perfect setting for individual expression and contemporary takes on festive traditions.
