New Balance’s hot list of famous star endorsers just got brighter, New Balance announced it had signed television and film actress Storm Reid as its brand-new ambassador.

Reid says, “Working with New Balance is a dream come true. New Balance and I share the belief that women should have the confidence to pursue all of their interests, and I’m thrilled that the brand has chosen to support me as a perfectly imperfect, multi-dimensional young person who is learning as I grow.”

To introduce the partnership, Reid led New Balance’s ‘We Got Now’ video campaign. The video shows fans a closer view into Reid’s life as she handles being a humanitarian, actress and a student due to her recently beginning her Drama and African American Studies Degree, at the University of Southern California. Reid is acclaimed for her acting roles in the film DC’s Suicide Squad, A Wrinkle in Time and the popular HBO television series Euphoria.

New Balance has stated it will be teaming up with Reid in the coming years to work on creating initiatives that cooperate in providing advanced opportunities for young women, as well as building marketing campaigns and products.
