Luxury, streetwear, and sneaker worlds have never been more intertwined, and much of the buzz has centred on brands combining their two aesthetics to create coveted collaborations — such as Prada x Adidas or the legendary Dior x Air Jordan. However, unlike the latter, which catapulted resale prices to new astronomical heights, Prada and Adidas Originals’ efforts have remained understated and under the radar — until now.

The upcoming Forum collaboration combines iconic elements from both brands to create the most wearable and creative pair to be released. The shoes are one of Prada’s most luxurious to date, combining Prada’s signature Re-Nylon with premium leather. The Re-Nylon is a sustainable take on regular nylon made by recycling and purifying plastic taken from oceans, fishing nets, landfills, and textile fibre waste.

However, the pair is brought back to reality by the familiar Forum Low silhouette, which has been increasingly pushed as the Three Stripes’ hero sneaker in 2021 and 2022.

A detachable pouch made of Re-Nylon, sits on top of the tongue and boasts Prada’s emblematic triangular logo plaque on the front. Prada branding also appears on the very top of the tongue in rubberized block capitals, while the names of the two collaborators appear side by side inside the shoe.

The release dates and prices for the Forum collaboration have yet to be announced by Prada and Adidas, but they are expected to be released in the coming weeks. For the time being, take a closer look at the pair above.
