Hulu has shared the first teaser trailer of ‘MIKE’, an upcoming limited series focusing on boxing legend Mike Tyson. It seeks to tell the untold story of arguably America’s greatest boxer, using his historic career and personal life as the backdrop. This show is definitely one for the sports fans.

Created and executive produced by I, Tonya’s Steven Rogers, MIKE is described as “an unauthorized and no-holds-barred look at the life of Mike Tyson” through a total of eight episodes: ‘ the 8-episode limited series explores the ‘tumultuous ups and downs of Tyson’s boxing career and personal life – from being a beloved global athlete to a pariah and back again’

The series will also centre on Mike Tyson, and will look at class, race, fame, and the power of the media, as well as misogyny, the wealth disparity, the American Dream’s promise, and our own involvement in crafting Mike’s story.

Harvey Keitel, Laura Harrier, and Li Eubanks will guest feature, while Trevante Rhodes and Russell Hornsby will play the title character and boxing promoter Don King, respectively. Along with Claire Brown, Craig Gillespie, Bryan Unkeless, Scott Morgan, Darin Friedman, Anthony Hemingway, Anthony Sparks, Samantha Corbin-Miller, Tom Ackerley, and actress Margot Robbie, Karen Gist will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
