Stormzy has returned with his first solo release in nearly three years, an epic, seven-minute statement of his legend status titled “Mel Made Me Do It.” The single features cameos from a diverse array of stars such as Usain Bolt, Louis Theroux, and football manager José Mourinho.

The single dives in on the rapper’s reputation with an abundance of references, featuring terrifying bars over 808 beats and string work. Stylo G provides a guest vocal as well as a monologue written by fellow British lyricist Wretch 32, delivered spoken-word-style by Michaela Coel (I May Destroy You).

Stormzy’s family, Dave, Little Simz, Louis Theroux, Usain Bolt, Zeze Mills, and many others make appearances in the video. ‘Mel Made Me Do It’ is accompanied with an 11-minute music video created by KLVDR, which fuses numerous storylines and has over 35 cameos. Dave, Headie One, Little Simz, Louie Theroux, Malorie Blackman, and Usain Bolt are among them.
