Kid Cudi took to the Saturday Night Live stage this weekend in a dress, creating an iconic look that was applauded on the internet. The rapper performed songs from his 2020 album, Man on the Moon III and the performance included a couple of symbolic looks.

His appearance on SNL came just days after the 28th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s April 5th 1994 death, and Cudi made sure to pay homage to the Nirvana singer. His “Sad People” performance was a tribute to Cobain’s floral-patterned shirt look, and the open green cardigan Cudi donned in “Tequila Shots” also honoured the one worn by the Nirvana frontman in MTV Unplugged.

Kid Cudi disclosed on Twitter that the performance was his first reveal of his collection with Off-White. Cudi discussed how he asked good friend Virgil Abloh to create his floral look and followed up on Twitter to reveal to fans that they will be able to get the dress in his Off-White collab.
