Finally all the rumours have been confirmed, Friends is returning to our screens. Jennifer Aniston broke the news on Instagram that Friends: The Reunion will be available on HBO on May 27th after the gang were able to film last month in front of a live audience.

It’s been over sixteen years since we saw the six mates on TV, after the show ended in 2004. The 10-series sitcom has lately found a new generation of fans due to re-runs and Netflix and other streaming services.

It wouldn’t be a reunion without all the familiar faces, and of course Friends have managed to go above and beyond. All the original stars – Matthew Perry (Chandler), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courtney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and David Schwimmer (Ross)- are to appear, amongst others.

Joining them will be Maggie Wheeler (Janice), James Michael Tyler (Gunther), Reese Witherspoon (Jill) and Tom Selleck (Richard), as well as Ross and Monica’s parents, Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles.

A few celebrity guests are rumoured to join too, such as Lady Gaga, Cara Delavigne, David Beckham, James Corden and Justin Bieber.
