Many questioned why Kanye West was wearing a blue puffer jacket in the LA heat, but now it all makes sense. Turns out, he was unveiling the first item from his Yeezy Gap line.

It’s been nearly a year since the collaboration was first announced, which Gap has explained to create “modern, elevated basics for men, women and kids at accessible price points”. In March this year, the value of Kanye’s Gap collection was estimated at around £697 million, totalling the rapper’s net worth to around £4.7billion.

The first of these garments will be blue “round jacket” which is made from recycled nylon and will sell for $200. Sadly, the jacket will only be available in the US and will drop in Autumn. Floating projections of the Yeezy Gap jacket will also be displayed in US cities, New York, LA, and Chicago.
