Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons reimagined the Fondazione Prada’s Deposito as a stage for the exhibition of Prada’s Fall/Winter 2022 men’s collection, in collaboration with architecture firm OMA. The seasonal collection, dubbed “Body of Work,” investigates “theatre and cinema as mirrors of reality.”

To walk the “representation of a heightened actuality,” Hollywood stars were cast including: Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Asa Butterfield, Jeff Goldblum, Damson Idris, Kyle MacLachlan, Tom Mercier, Jaden Michael, Louis Partridge, Ashton Sanders, and Filippo Scotti.

The FW22 collection is led by a sense of uniformity through elegance and sophistication, with pragmatic clothing rendered in leather and silk tech. Sartorial tailoring adds a sense of importance to knitwear, bomber jackets, and parkas. The formalisation of wares for a proud structure’s expression of modernism through defined shape and form. The emphasis on the shoulder and waistlines, as well as the methodical fabrication, continue to elevate the uniform.
