Multi-hyphenates – those with several professions or skills. Musician and producer, Pharrell Williams undoubtedly falls under this category as he delves into a wide range of business endeavours besides creating music. With JOOPITER, a brand-new digital-only auction house and content platform, Pharrell is now expanding further.

JOOPITER will act as a hub for community and e commerce with the primary objective is to offer customers a premium auction experience where bids can be placed on unique cultural items selected by a team of collectors, curators, and producers. On the content side, it will serve as a central location to locate unique editorial and historical photos, videos, and other media relevant to each object up for auction.

Son of Pharaoh, a 52-piece time capsule commemorating Pharrell’s career, serves as the initiative’s first. project. The collection includes items like his 18K gold Blackberry, which he flashed in his famous freestyle on BET, a chain with the N.E.R.D. brain pendant from 2004, a gilded Sony Playstation PSP, a Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk with the “Black/Multicolor” monogram, an Alpinestars Motorcycle Jacket with the phrase “Women’s Rights,” an adidas Consortium Stan Smith embellished with python materials.

The father of four is juggling many non-musical endeavours, such as the skincare company Humanrace and the educational non-profit Yellow, but for now, his focus is on Joopiter and creating room for the next phase.

See JOOPITER for when things launch on October 14th.
