The London Podcast Festival are highlighting the top podcasting talent from the UK and throughout the world – featuring live podcasts you can watch across comedy, film, music, true crime, satire and more. If you’ve ever wanted to launch your own podcast or develop your existing skills – there are live workshops also taking place this weekend (17-18th Sept).

Kings Place established the London Podcast Festival in 2016, and it has already hosted over 37,000 guests and 500 podcasters. The festival is organised by Kings Place, the UK’s premier live podcasting venue and its programme is a great opportunity to highlight the rapidly expanding popularity of podcasts and provide fans with the chance to interact with their favourite podcast hosts.

Jameela Jamil and Rebecca Humphries

There will be performances by Jameela Jamil and Dane Baptiste, a joint appearance by Brown Girls Do it Best and the Guilty Feminist, a conversation with Danny Robbins and Mark Gatiss, comedy from No Such Thing as a Fish, and many more to celebrate the rapidly expanding popularity of podcasts.

Additionally, the Podcast Maker Weekend offers professional, high-quality, and reasonably priced workshops and classes for everyone interested in the sector. Some of the workshops will include topics such as the value of relationships and people in podcasting, as well as scripting, production fundamentals, and researching ideas.
