Kanye West appears to be strengthening his relationship with Balenciaga. Following the announcement of YEEZY GAP’s “ENGINEERED BY BALENCIAGA,” Ye was spotted closing down a Balenciaga store in Miami with fellow rapper Cardi B. Cardi B was named the face of Balenciaga in September 2020, and she has since expanded her relationship with the brand.

The two Balenciaga ambassadors were recently spotted in the same store, presumably filming a music video together. It’s unclear whether the project is for one of Kanye’s new singles or a new project from the “WAP” rapper, though she has recently hinted at releasing a new album in 2022. The sighting comes just days after Ye closed down the same store for a shopping spree with fellow hip-hop artist Future. It’s no surprise that the Balenciaga boutique has become the new location for Ye’s inspirations. The DONDA has recently been promoting designer DEMNA’s pieces on a regular basis.
