M/M (PARIS), the outstanding art and design combo introduce its first-ever watches as well as a ground-breaking NFT series.
M/M (Paris), founded in 1992 by Mathias Augustyniak and Michael Amzalag, is a prominent art and design agency known for its boundary-breaking originality and captivating work. Designers and luxury labels such as Balenciaga, Loewe, and Louis Vuitton, as well as musicians such as Björk, The Micronauts, and Madonna, are among its long-standing creative clientele and partners.
This time, the team collaborates with watchmaker ANICORN to produce “2,” a collection comprised of five distinct luxury goods – clocks, ping pong set, silk square, puzzle, two statement shirts, and three rare NFTs – that represent the universe of M/M. (PARIS).
Four years in the development, the pair incorporates its world-famous M/M (PARIS) whimsical, modular typeface into a set of three distinct clocks. The three-model clocks, labelled – “2HAPPY,” “2LAZY,” and “2BUSY” – convey both time and tales and are built around a bespoke 3D dial showing a display of small sculptures on the beholder’s wrist. The proportions of the watch hands and the design of the dial’s modular numerals represent the duo’s cutting-edge design philosophy. The first two versions are available in 100-piece limited editions, while the last is restricted to 50 pieces.
In conjunction with the timepiece line, three NFTs — “2HAPPY,” “2LAZY,” and “2BUSY” — are issued in editions of one each, marking the company’s first step into the M/METAVERSE, and are exclusively accessible on the NFT marketplace FOUNDATION.
The M/M (Paris) X ANICORN watches line is now available on the FOUNDATION app; NFTs are offered separately.
