// YOUR WORD FOR 2021

Hope

// WHAT HAVE YOU SEEN ONLINE/INSTAGRAM /TIKTOK / TWITTER THAT HAS STOPPED YOU SCROLLING?

I use the save feature on instagram way too much, I even categorise everything! At the moment I’m going through a phase of saving an aspirational florist’s work that I love so I can refer to it later.

// GIVE US A WHISTLE STOP TOUR OF YOUR CAREER TO DATE

I left school after failing my A-levels and got a job in hospitality. A few other jobs inbetween and I’m now one half of Gloria, an online floral studio based in East London and I have been modelling alongside everything else since I was 18. I love having two jobs, I enjoy the variety and the madness.

//WHAT DOES 24 HOURS IN YOUR LIFE LOOK LIKE?

My dog usually wakes me up, we snooze together for another 10 minutes. Then it’s straight to my floral studio in Walthamstow or to a shoot. Every day is different at the moment, which I’m feeling very grateful for.

// WHAT DO YOU DO TO SWITCH OFF OR CHILL?

I love listening to podcasts or watching true crime docs.

// WHAT HAS BEEN ONE OF YOUR BEST CAREER HIGHLIGHTS?

We have had the chance to work with some really cool clients last year, so I would say that would be our highlight so far including the likes of Alexander McQueen, Coast Fashion and Free People. Covid has changed the way brands want to market themselves and assess what content they want to push out. Luckily flowers have been able to play a big part in this.

// WHAT DO YOU SEE IN YOUR FUTURE?

Moving to a larger open studio where we can host people and have the space to be more creative.

// IF YOU COULD COLLABORATE WITH ONE CREATIVE/BRAND WHO WOULD IT BE?

The Vampire’s Wife – I love the clothes so much and the way they shoot is so inspiring and ahead of the game. I think flowers would fit perfectly with her brand.

// WHO IS YOUR GREATEST INSPIRATION?

Saipua, is a NYC based florist that inspired me to get into florals, she is my greatest inspiration. I would kill for an ounce of her creativity!

// YOUR FAVOURITE SONG OF 2021 SO FAR?

Play me something nice – Joesef

// WHAT DO YOU WANT PEOPLE TO SAY ABOUT YOU AT THE END OF YOUR CAREER?

“She worked hard and with integrity”

// WHAT IS THE BIGGEST ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO NEW CREATIVES?

Let your work speak for you, be aware and stay as authentic as possible.

// WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO YOU IN YOUR WORLD RIGHT NOW?

Connecting with like minded people and making sure what we push out is authentic to us.
