Back in the summer, Sony’s announcement of a new PS5 had everyone talking. A few months later, and still 2 weeks to go to release, the new game console has generated more pre-order sales than the PS4 did in its first 12 weeks of release.

When Sony opened up the pre-order sales the site crashed due to the extreme huge demand which led to users to not being able to bag themselves the next release, and Sony having to issue an apology for the inconvenience. This didn’t stop the hype though, as Jim Ryan (Sony’s Interactive Entertainment CEO) said, ‘the demand as expressed by the level of pre-order has been very, very considerable.’. Considerable is a humble way to explain the amount of money generated from these sales, but maybe we’re just jealous!

If you’ve been so lucky to purchase a PS5 it’ll be released on November 12th– unlucky to all of you who didn’t!
