Nike has been heavily praised for implementing plus-sized and para-sport mannequins in its London flagship store in Oxford Circus. They first launched their plus-size range, which also gained a positive reaction, in 2017 so it’s clear Nike is continuing to take positive steps in promoting body positivity and inclusivity for all shapes and sizes.

Along with the mannequins, they also launched a women’s only floor in the flagship store, which sells clothes exclusive for female athletes. As one can imagine, the addition of the mannequins and the women’s only area will give many young women athletes a huge confidence boost, and a positive message for embracing themselves and their bodies.

Hopefully, more brands now will take inspiration from Nike and start implementing the same in their stores.
