Drake seems to be always doing the most, from bringing out chart-topping bangers after bangers, creating meme-worthy dance moves, hosting SNL, and creating the global (but now destroyed after the Toronto Raptors NBA final win) ‘Drake Curse’. But on top of all those, he excels in his performances.

The 2018/19 Aubrey and The Three Amigos and Assassination Vacation tour brought out Drake’s particular attention to the visual elements for his wide-scale shows that contribute to his contagious energy he brings to each performance. Creatively directed by Willo Perron in accordance with Sila Sveta, the Moscow-based multimedia production company, they used a massive rectangular block as the stage, which was actually a 360-degree LED screen that presented 3-D graphics in order to create a compelling visual story.

This included having a gigantic scorpion, a true-to-scale basketball field drawn out by neon blue lasers, a realistic iPhone display (scrolling down Instagram, of course), an iceberg that tracks his movements and cracks wherever he takes his steps, and ripples of water flowing across the screen.

Here’s to Drake, for one-of-kind concerts, and most importantly, destroying the ‘Drake Curse’.
